How it works
The door station joins your phone system like any other extension. When a visitor presses the button, it calls the front desk, a ring group or an indoor monitor. Staff answer, see the visitor on a video phone or monitor, and open the door with a key press.
That is why we sell them: a door intercom on the same system as your phones means one number to call for support and one place to change who answers.
Main doors, side doors, gates and loading docks.
Models with a keypad let staff open the door with a code.
A screen at the desk or nurses station shows who is at the door.
A good fit for nursing home and assisted living entrances, where the desk needs to see who is coming in.

Questions
It works with EmpireUC and with most SIP phone systems, because it registers as an extension. Tell us your system and we will confirm.
Most door stations have a relay that can trigger an electric strike or lock. Your door hardware has to support it, so we check that with you first.
On a video capable phone or an indoor monitor, yes. On an audio only phone you can talk to the visitor and open the door.
We can plan the entrance with you and set the intercom up on your phone system. Tell us about the building.

Wired, Bluetooth and DECT headsets.
Speakerphones for meeting rooms and video phones.
Tell us about the door and who should answer it, and we will recommend the station and set it up.
